Meet the Shared Support, Inc. Team & Staff
Elizabeth Devett
Founder & CEO
Liz started her career as a Direct Support Professional, Teacher and an Advocate for people with intellectual disabilities. She has been working with students and adults with disabilities in multiple capacities for the last 25 years. Liz is also a communication mentor and an Essential Lifestyle Plan facilitator.
She is a former Program Specialist, Residential Director, and now serves as Shared Support’s CEO. Since 2005, Liz has successfully led the organization through multiple policy initiatives, fiscal changes and expansion.
The organization has grown from serving 7 people in one service to now providing supports and services to approximately 100 people and their families in Lifesharing, Home and Community Habilitation, Employment Services and Community Living Arrangements. Liz has set a high standard of person centered and responsive management across the organization.
Kristie Wertman
CPO
Kristie joined Shared Support as a Program Specialist in 2005. She quickly learned the person first concept and developed trusting relationships with all of the people she supported. She generated a genuine and positive attitude towards people and they responded with amazing growth and attainment of outcomes.
She has learned to share her philosophy of managing by relationship with all of the many staff she now supervises. Kristie has overseen tremendous growth and, as CPO, empowers Program Specialist and Direct Support Professionals to Dream, Reach, and Contribute!
Drue Robinson
COO
Drue joined the Shared Support team in 2017. She has dedicated the past 30 years of her career to the development and provision of meaningful community supports for people living with intellectual and developmental disabilities, as well as for those living with behavioral health issues.
Having worked for both government and DD/IDD nonprofits prior to Shared Support, Drue gained experience working direct care through key leadership positions and also has experience working in the legal system. Drue holds an MSW degree from Temple University and is a Pennsylvania Licensed Social Worker.
Angie Collins
Program Director
Angie joined the Shared Support team as a Program Specialist in 2007 and, having demonstrated her commitment to providing person centered supports and effectively mentoring person-centered thinking with her team, was promoted to the positions of Assistant Director in 2013 and Program Director in 2019.
After earning her degree from Marywood University, Angie gained experience as the Manager of support services at an Enrichment Housing Program for people living with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Angie also has experience with connecting people with medical assistance benefits and held the position of Activities Director for an aging population.
Verné Dixon
Senior Director of Business Operations
Verné Dixon joined Shared Support, Inc. in 2021, bringing over 25 years of progressive leadership experience in nonprofit management, financial oversight, and team development. Her career has been dedicated to empowering teams and creating sustainable, meaningful services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).
Verné's expertise spans across private and nonprofit sectors, with a strong background in financial reporting, budgeting, and leadership. Her innovative approach has led to the implementation of cloud-based systems, improved operations, and increased employee engagement. Verné is also dedicated to diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts and serves on Shared Support’s DEI Committee.
Verné holds multiple advanced degrees, including a Master of Science in Organizational Development and Leadership from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, a Master of Business Administration from West Chester University, and a Master of Science in Human Services Administration from the University of Baltimore. She is also a Master Trainer certified by the Association for Talent Development.
Theresa kratzer
Financial Manager
Theresa joined Shared Support in 2005 and quickly developed fiscal and administrative processes that assisted the organization to achieve positive financial positions and effective cash flow. She continues to manage the fiscal growth of the organization while maintaining the highest level of compliance with all local, commonwealth, and federal guidelines.
Theresa’s organizational talent and gift for detail provides the business foundation from which we can provide our support and achieve our mission.
